There is a large coastal area around our country and there is a large scope of development in the coastal places.However we see a little development in these places..For example take the case
of bheemunipatnam near vizag a very under developed .It is considered to be a port during Dutch period now show a deserted look.Even the beach road look shabby having broken idols.It is astonishing how the Gov't neglected this place.Very near to it there is Visakhapatnam which developed on its own due to industrial and naval importance.These are the following reasons for making the coastal places.
1) Places add beauty to the area adjoining and also attract travellers around the Country which in turn increase the revenue of the Country. It will also increase the Popularity of the Place.
2) Places attract danger from the sea side also as the place is under scanner in the eyes of encounter
Countries if there is a aggression erupt.Hence the place need to be secure in having defence by deploying army and naval forces in the area..
3) Places add to the dangers in case of cyclone & Tsunami which endanger the inundation of the surrounding and adjoining area.Hence the area should be well equipment all forecasting techniques to make the Govt vigilant if there is any such matter.
4) Places attract so many people to have their residences built near the area facing the beautiful sea.The Govt should take the ownership of the area and build flats having a good landscape and facilities These flats should be sold to the public at competitive rates to people.
The State Govts can not handle the above facts due to various reasons and limitations especially revenue hence i propose that the adjoining areas, cities , and towns and Villages should be taken over by the Central Govt.
Recent Hud Hud Cyclone support my above statements. There is drastic revenue loss and greenery loss as well as Infrastructure loss in the City of Visakhapatnam which is in East Coastal area experienced huge winds of a velocity of 200 kms for nearly 6 hours . But with the due foresight
of state & central govts the human loss has been averted. But so many buildings near the Sea have developed cracks and so many industries have incurred huge losses. Even Central Govt agencies and industries including Airport and Railway Station and naval base and Hindustan Shipyard and centre operated Steel plant affected.
Hence some of my above points taken care and if the City is reconsutructed all the cares need to be
taken to avert above type of loss.
